Where We Began

Born from a gap that needed filling

For many families, education has long meant a difficult compromise. Send your child to a mainstream school with excellent academics but no place for their faith, or seek out a faith-centred setting that may not match the academic rigour you want for them. Too often, families have felt forced to choose between the two.

Too many families home-educate because no school nearby reflects their values. Parents abroad search for a genuine British curriculum education with an Islamic ethos and find nothing suitable. Bright children lose confidence in crowded classrooms where no one has the time to truly know them.

So we built a school for exactly those families, one that takes both academic excellence and Islamic values seriously, delivered entirely online in small classes so that distance, class size and compromise are no longer barriers to a great education.

Our mission

Our mission is straightforward: to provide Muslim children, wherever they are in the world, with a rigorous British curriculum education grounded in a genuine Islamic ethos, taught by qualified teachers, in small classes, with the individual care every child deserves.

We want children to grow into adults who are academically capable and grounded in their faith, who see no contradiction between excelling in their studies and holding firmly to their values, because they have never been asked to separate the two.

For us, an Islamic ethos is not a label or a weekly lesson: it is the foundation everything else is built on. It shapes how we teach, who we hire and how we treat every child and family in our care.

Every child genuinely known

We cap our classes at 15 students because we believe education works best when a child is truly known by their teacher. No child should be invisible. No child should slip through the cracks.

Academic rigour, without compromise

A faith-centred education should never mean a lesser one. We follow the British National Curriculum properly, with qualified teachers and real standards, because our children deserve the very best of both.

Accessible to every family

Quality education shouldn't depend on your postcode or your country. By teaching entirely online and keeping our fees affordable, we make a genuine Islamic British education accessible to families everywhere.

The BRS Approach

Not like other online schools

There are plenty of online learning platforms. Most are libraries of recorded videos, or large virtual classrooms that recreate the very anonymity parents are trying to escape. BRS is neither.

We are a real school, with qualified teachers, a structured curriculum, live lessons and genuine relationships between teachers and students. We just happen to deliver it online, in small classes, with an Islamic ethos at the centre.

A school is only as good as its teachers, and we choose ours carefully. Every BRS teacher is selected for three things: genuine subject knowledge, proven teaching ability and a character and ethos that reflects the values of our school.

Our teachers are qualified, experienced educators, not general tutors working from a script. They teach because they care about what children learn and who they become. And because our groups are small, the teacher your child meets is the teacher who will know them, support them and walk alongside their progress throughout the year.
