A School Built Differently: British Curriculum, Islamic Heart
BRS Online School is a fully online British curriculum school for families in the UK and worldwide. Small group lessons, qualified teachers, and an Islamic ethos that shapes everything, from how we teach to how we speak to your child.
Not a video library. A real school, online.

There is a lot of noise in the online education space. Recorded videos. One-size-fits-all platforms. Tutors working without structure. BRS Online School is none of those things.
We are a proper school, with a timetable, qualified teachers, structured curriculum and real relationships between teachers and students. The difference is that we deliver it entirely online, in small classes and with an Islamic ethos at the centre of everything we do.
Our students follow the British National Curriculum across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. They sit in live lessons with a teacher who knows their name, tracks their progress and cares about their character as much as their results.
For families who want their child to receive a rigorous academic education without having to choose between faith and learning, this is the school we built.
We were built for families mainstream school doesn't serve well
Homeschooling Families
You have chosen to educate your children at home but want the structure, curriculum rigour and qualified teaching that a proper school provides. BRS gives you exactly that: a full school timetable, British curriculum coverage and proper teacher-to-student relationships, without taking your child out of the home.
International Families
You live outside the UK, whether in the Gulf, Europe, North America or elsewhere, but want a UK-standard education grounded in Islamic values. Our school is fully online and designed from the ground up for global accessibility. Your child gets the same quality whether they are in London or Lahore.
Children Struggling in Mainstream School
Large classrooms leave many children behind. If your child is losing confidence, falling behind or simply not getting the attention they need in a class of 30, our small classes of up to 15 students make a real difference. Children are seen and heard in lessons.
Faith-First Families
You want your child’s education to be anchored in Islamic values, not just tacked on with a weekly Islamiyat lesson. At BRS, the Islamic ethos is woven into the fabric of how we teach every subject, how teachers communicate and the culture of the classroom. Your child does not have to compartmentalise their faith.
Faith isn't an add-on here. It's the foundation.
Many schools describe themselves as Islamic. What they often mean is that Islamic Studies appears on the timetable once or twice a week. At BRS, that is not what Islamic ethos means.
Our Islamic ethos is present in how teachers speak to students, with patience, respect and the understanding that knowledge is an amanah. It is in the examples chosen in lessons, the values embedded in our behaviour expectations and the way we treat parents as partners in their child's education, not customers to be managed.
We recruit teachers not only for their academic qualifications but for their character and their alignment with these values. We expect students to be treated with dignity and parents to be communicated with honestly.
This is not a selling point. It is simply how we believe a school should be run.
In how we teach
Lessons are calm, purposeful and structured. Teachers set the tone of a classroom with the adab the subject deserves.
In who we hire
Teachers are recruited for knowledge, character and ethos-alignment, not just qualifications on paper.
In how we communicate
Parents are kept genuinely informed. We communicate clearly, honestly and without jargon.
Up to fifteen students. Never thirty.
The single biggest practical difference between BRS Online School and most alternatives, online or otherwise, is class size.
Every lesson at BRS takes place in a class of up to 15 students, never the 30-plus of a mainstream classroom. This is not a selling point: it is an educational principle. Research consistently shows that smaller class sizes produce better outcomes, more confident learners and stronger teacher-student relationships.
In a class of up to 15, your child cannot hide. They cannot drift. The teacher notices immediately if they are confused, disengaged or struggling, and responds in the moment. Questions are welcomed, not feared.
Structured learning from KS1 to KS3
Our school follows the British National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2), Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) and Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) a structured, progressive education that meets UK educational standards at every stage. Core subjects of English, Maths, and Science are taught alongside History, Geography, ICT and Islamic Studies.

Live Online Lessons
All lessons are delivered live via video conferencing. Your child joins their class at a set time, sees their teacher and classmates and participates in a real lesson. There are no pre-recorded substitutes.
A Structured Timetable
Students follow a proper weekly timetable covering all their subjects. This gives children and families consistency, routine and the rhythm of a real school week, without the commute.
Regular Communication
Parents receive termly progress reports and have access to their child's teacher for updates and feedback. We believe parents are partners in their child's education, not spectators.
Accessible Anywhere
Our school is entirely online. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Families join us from the UK, the Gulf, Europe, North America and beyond.
Qualified. Experienced. Ethos-aligned.
Every teacher at BRS Online School is recruited carefully. We look for three things: genuine subject knowledge, proven teaching ability and a character and ethos that reflects our values as an Islamic school.
Our teachers are not general tutors working from a shared slide deck. They are qualified educators with experience in their subject areas, who teach because they care about what children learn and who they become.
We do not use agency placements or rotate through a pool of unknown faces. The teacher your child meets in their first lesson is the teacher who will know them, support them and report on their progress throughout the year.

Transparent pricing, no surprises
Our fees are structured clearly by key stage. We also offer a family discount for families enrolling more than one child, making the school accessible for larger families. Full fee details are available on each key stage page.
