A humble offering, for the sake of Allah
This is one free Arabic session per week. Nothing more than that.
It is offered by a student of knowledge: someone who has benefited from the works of the people of knowledge, who loves the Arabic language and its sciences, and who wishes to share what has been learned, sincerely, for the sake of Allah ﷻ. There is no claim of scholarship and nothing to advertise beyond the intention.
The session follows the Quran, the Sunnah and the understanding of the Salaf as-Salih. Where something is beyond the teacher's knowledge, it will be said plainly and referred to the people of knowledge.
We ask Allah ﷻ to accept this and to put blessing in it.
Classical Arabic: the language of the Quran and Sunnah
The session covers the foundational sciences of classical Arabic in a structured, progressive way. The starting point is always the basics: the Arabic alphabet, essential vocabulary and an introduction to Nahw and Sarf, building gradually as the group progresses together.
Nahw (Arabic Grammar)
The rules governing Arabic sentence structure: case endings, sentence types and the relationships between words. The foundation for reading the Quran and classical texts accurately.
Sarf (Arabic Morphology)
The science of word forms: how Arabic words are built and how they change. Essential for genuine understanding of the Quran and Hadith.
Quranic & Hadith Language
Applying Nahw and Sarf to the language of the Quran and authentic Sunnah: the whole point of learning Arabic in the first place.
Reading, Writing & Vocabulary
Arabic script, essential vocabulary and reading practice: the practical foundation that supports everything else.
Children from KS1 to KS4, beginners especially welcome
The session is open to children from KS1 to KS4, up to the age of 16. Because it is one group session per week, the class follows a single structured progression, starting from the foundations and building from there. This makes it most suitable for complete beginners or those in the early stages of Arabic study.
If you have more advanced knowledge and want to assess whether the session is the right level for you, mention it during your consultation and we will be honest with you about fit.
No prior knowledge is needed to begin. Just the intention, in sha Allah.

One live Arabic group session per week is completely free of charge. This is not a trial. It is not a promotional offer. It is simply what is being given: one session a week, for the sake of Allah ﷻ, with no cost and no conditions.

What we used to charge
We previously offered paid Arabic plans. These have been retired. The session is now offered free of charge, one group session per week, and we do not intend to return to paid pricing for this programme.

Free Arabic alongside a full British curriculum education
BRS is a UK-based online British school following the British National Curriculum across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Alongside our full academic provision (English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and more) we offer this free Arabic session as a standalone community programme, open to any family regardless of whether their children are enrolled with us.

Our academic programmes follow the British National Curriculum to UK standards. Our faith programmes, including the free Arabic session and the free Islamic Studies session, follow the Quran, the Sunnah and the understanding of the Salaf as-Salih. Both exist within the same institution because we do not believe a person has to choose between academic excellence and their deen.
