CoreReading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, grammar, spelling and vocabulary. Children develop into confident, articulate readers and writers, capable of expressing themselves clearly and understanding increasingly complex texts.

Key Stage 2 culminates in an important transition to secondary education. Our programme ensures children are genuinely ready, academically and in terms of study skills, confidence and independence.

By Key Stage 2, the academic stakes are higher, and the risk of a child quietly falling behind in a large class is real. Subjects build on one another (a gap in Year 3 maths makes Year 5 maths harder) and large classes simply don't allow teachers to catch these gaps in time.
